St. Patrick’s day is a day of celebration, a day to drink, eat, spend time with friends and family, relax and be merry. How to celebrate St Patrick’s Day!
St Patrick’s day is a day of feasting with friends, many people head tot he local pub or Inn to enjoy St Paddy’s day festivities.
This usually involves finding an Irish themed pub that has an Irish band playing, or settling in at a friends home with some Irish music food and drink.
How to Dress
One rule! go Green! you need not be covered head to toe in green, a small green ribbon or button will suffice, but make sure you wear something green so you are invisible to leprechauns and don’t get pinched!
Take it one step further and you can go dressed in a leprechaun outfit! if you are totally into it, why not dye your hair green and paint your face with the colours of the Irish flag!
What to Eat
Traditional foods and lots of it! Irish fry, Scones, Irish soda bread, Apple tarts, corned beef and cabbage and much, much more!
What to Drink
Guinness, Stout, Larger, Green beer and lots of it! If your not into beer or stout you could always try any one of a large number of St. Paddy’s day cocktails
