Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 Fine mesh sieve Optional
  • 1 Pitcher
  • 1 Salt plate or small bowl
  • Glasses
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Seedless Watermelon Cubed
  • 1/2 Cup Tequila
  • 1/4 Cup Lime Juice (approx 2-3 limes)
  • 2 tbsp Triple Sec
  • 1 tbsp Simple Syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice
  • Salt for Rimming the Glasses
  • Lime wedges and Watermelon Slices for Garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Glasses:

  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and dip it into a plate of salt. Set aside.

Blend the Watermelon:

  • In a blender, add the cubed watermelon and blend until smooth. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove any pulp, if desired.

Mix the Ingredients:

  • To the pitcher with watermelon juice, add the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup. Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more simple syrup if necessary.

Serve the Margarita:

  • Fill each salted glass with ice cubes. Pour the watermelon margarita mixture over the ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of watermelon.

Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Watermelon Margarita!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness: Feel free to add more simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter drink.
  • No triple sec?: You can substitute it with orange liqueur or skip it if you prefer a less strong flavor.
